Symptoms:
Very cold in the attic bedroom.
Work done:
I made a few holes to check what kind of isolation was used in the attic. I found that there was only 1 inch of styrofoam used.
That had to be removed together with old plasterboard.
Then I used new Rockwool 150 mm inside the roof. Also used new Kingspan plasterboard with 50 mm isolation on the ceiling and walls outside of the bedroom. Next step was to fill holes, joints and repaint the all bedroom.
Result:
Bedroom keep warm better now and as well is much more quiet than before.
